Pallas - Courage (And Other Songs Of War And Peace) 2018

Pallas formed in Aberdeen, Scotland (1976) as Rainbow. Changed name to Pallas, after Ritchie Blackmore used the Rainbow name. They were part of the second-wave revival of prog rock in the UK along with bands like Marillion, Pendragon and IQ.
With the name of the band being derived from the Greek goddess of both war and wisdom, it has always been fitting that much of the band’s music has involved themes of war. To mark the 100 year anniversary of the end of "The Great War" Graeme has written "Courage" assisted by Niall on guitars. We have compiled album featuring "Courage" and other songs of War and Peace curated from the band’s archives.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2006, The Colour Thirteen is a New Wave / Synth Pop band consisting of members Nick Daytona and Mickey Las Palmas. Nick and Mickey met in the Los Angeles underground around 2005, realising before long that their similar musical aesthetics lent themselves well to the creation of a New Wave band for modern times. The Colour Thirteen evokes the spirit of synth pop and new wave in the 1980s, but with decided authenticity. 2011 sees the band beginning to tour, and will also mark the year their debut LP is released.

Spacemonkeyz vs. Gorillaz - Laika Come Home (2002) Lossless + mp3

Spacemonkeyz are a musical group consisting of Darren Galea, Richie Stevens and Gavin Dodds. They came together when Galea created a dub remix of Gorillaz's "Tomorrow Comes Today" ("Tomorrow Dub", which was released as a B-side on the "Tomorrow Comes Today" single), which Gorillaz founder Damon Albarn liked so much that he asked Galea to remix the whole album Gorillaz. The resulting album, Laika Come Home, was released in July 2002. The album's first and only single "Lil' Dub Chefin'" reached #73 on the UK Singles Chart. They also wrote an original song with Taiwanese singer Stanley Huang, "Spacemonkeyz Theme", which appeared as a B-side on "Lil' Dub Chefin'", and did a remix of the Herbert Grönemeyer single "Mensch". Darren Galea performed turntables as part of the Gorillaz live band on all of the 'Gorillaz' & 'Demon Days' Live dates between 2000 and 2006. Like the Gorillaz, they are a virtual band (though not to the degree that Gorillaz are). According to the fictional Gorillaz biography Rise of the Ogre, the group is an actual team of monkeys used in space tests who had stolen the tracks from an unattended Kong Studios and remixed them without Gorillaz's permission. Since the release of Laika Come Home the band has not released any new material. On the Hallelujah Monkeyz podcast Richie Stevens announced [when?] that new Spacemonkeyz material will be releasing soon.

The Cars - The Cars (Delux Edition) 1978 (Reissue 1999)

The Cars played their first show at Pease Air Force Base in New Hampshire on December 31, 1976 and spent early 1977 playing throughout New England, developing the songs that would become their debut album. A nine-song demo tape was recorded in early 1977 and soon "Just What I Needed" was getting heavy airplay on Boston radio stations WBCN and WCOZ. By virtue of that airplay, the band was signed to Elektra Records. The band's debut album, The Cars, was released in June 1978, reaching No. 18 on the Billboard 200. "Just What I Needed" was released as the debut single from the album, followed by "My Best Friend's Girl" and "Good Times Roll" all three charting on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also featured multiple album tracks that received substantial airplay, such as "You're All I've Got Tonight," "Bye Bye Love," and "Moving in Stereo."
